Our responsibility for an ethical and sustainable value chain
At Måsøval, we take our responsibility seriously – towards the environment, society, and the people who are part of our value chain. Our work with the Transparency Act is a natural extension of our strategy to be a responsible salmon producer, based on transparency, ethical business conduct, and long-term value creation.
How we work
Our due diligence assessment is based on OECD guidelines and is carried out as systematic evaluations to identify, prevent, and reduce the risk of human rights violations and breaches of decent working conditions. The latest assessment highlights priority areas such as feed supply chains, slaughtering, transport, packaging, and operational services.
