This proved to be quite a week for us at Måsøval. After sharing the Q2 results at Britannia Hotel, christening our new feed barge at Skansen, and meeting industry colleagues at Aqua Nor, we were yesterday honored with the Ocean Company of the Year 2025 award by the Havfruenettverket network.
Havfruenettverket [external link] gathers more than 600 women in the marine and maritime sector. Through the Havfruetreffet event, organized in parallel with Aqua Nor, they promote diversity, inspiration, and positive role models in an industry that is still male-dominated.
“It is a particular honor for us at Måsøval, as a relatively small aquaculture player, to be recognized in this way,” said Organizational Director Sandra Holm in her acceptance speech.

She particularly highlighted the people at Måsøval:
“With us, people are not just employees; they are the very driving force of the company.”
For us, this award is a strong signal that our work with talent development, inclusion, and culture building is right and important. We have established our own talent program, focused on
“We are entirely dependent on great diversity, both professionally and personally, to succeed going forward. This award motivates us to continue precisely that,” concludes Sandra.
We are proud to have been named Ocean Company of the Year 2025 – an award that belongs to all our employees.
