Måsøval has announced the appointment of Anders Hagestande as its new CFO. Hagestande brings an impressive wealth of experience in finance and management to his new role.
Prior to taking on his new position at Måsøval, Hagestande had a successful career as CFO at Blue Resource Group AS and Bjørøya AS. He has also served as a board member in companies such as Filetfabrikken AS and Villa Seafood AS. Additionally, Hagestande served as Financial Controller at Nova Sea AS and as a business developer at AquaGen AS. This impressive background has equipped him with a deep understanding of the seafood industry and strong expertise in economics and finance.
Hagestande holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) with a major in finance and a minor in economic analysis. He joins Måsøval as a highly qualified leader, ready to contribute to the company’s continued success and growth.

The appointment comes after current CFO Gunnar Aftret announced his departure in May 2023. Aftret will remain available to the company as a financial advisor until November 30, 2023, at the latest, to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
