Reference is made to the press release on 3 May 2023, stating that Måsøval AS filed a lawsuit against the state, claiming compensation of NOK 29.8 million for the losses the company incurred after the farming site Kattholmen was misdiagnosed with PD SAV3 in August 2019. The case went to trial in November 2023. Further reference is made to announcement on 29 December 2023 stating that Måsøval had been awarded compensation from the state for the misdiagnosis.
The state appealed the verdict on 2 February 2024, and Måsøval submitted an independent appeal in the case today, 5 February 2024.
